About the event
Ceremony 08:30–08:55; sales and activities 09:00–11:30. Held in rain. Produce and flower stalls, Awa dance, food trucks, police/fire booths and bingo. The public visitor notice specifies no residency or age restriction or advance admission booking. No visitor parking; do not arrive by car.
