About the event
History of Miyakonojo and the Shimazu clan from the late Heian to early Edo periods. Last entry 16:30. Closed Mondays, or the following day when Monday is a public holiday, and October 29–30 for exhibit changes. November 23 is open. Holiday openings and closures are encoded in the schedule. The main residence costs an additional JPY 110 for elementary-school age and above. No advance-registration requirement is listed for regular viewing; related events have separate conditions.
