About the event
A special exhibition tracing roughly four decades of glass culture and art in Ishikawa, focusing on international glass competitions and artist development at the Kanazawa Utatsuyama Kogei Kobo. Runs from October 3, 2026, to January 11, 2027. Hours are 09:00–17:00 in October and November, and 09:00–16:30 in December and January, with last admission 30 minutes before closing (JST). Closed on October 20, November 17 and December 15, and from December 29 to January 1 inclusive. The official homepage currently advises that an air-conditioning fault limits access to the special exhibition in Rooms 1 and 2, and that Room 1 may be hot. High school students should show student ID. See the official visitor guide for concessions, including free admission for disability pass holders and one accompanying person. The pin is the museum representative point in the prefecture’s official tourism map. No cancellation notice for this exhibition was found when checked on October 24, 2026. No mandatory advance reservation is announced for individual general viewing. Groups of 20 or more must submit a group booking form in advance by fax or email. 石川県能登島ガラス美術館 展示室1・2
一般800円、大学生350円、高校生以下無料。20名以上の団体は一般700円・大学生300円。
石川で育まれたガラス文化・芸術の約40年の歩みを、国際公募展と金沢卯辰山工芸工房の人材育成に焦点を当てて紹介する企画展。会期2026年10月3日〜2027年1月11日。10・11月は9:00〜17:00、12・1月は9:00〜16:30、入館はいずれも閉館30分前まで。休館は会期中の第3火曜日（10/20・11/17・12/15）および12/29〜1/1。空調故障により企画展（展示室1・2）のみの観覧、展示室1は暑くなる旨を公式トップページで案内。高校生は学生証を提示。手帳所持者と付添1人の無料等、減免は公式利用案内を確認。会場代表点は県公式観光サイトの施設所在地地図に基づく。2026-10-24確認時点で当該展覧会の中止告知なし。 個人の通常観覧について事前予約必須の案内なし。20名以上の団体は団体予約申込書を事前提出（FAX・メール可）。居住地・年齢による一般観覧制限、個人観覧定員の記載なし。問い合わせ0767-84-1175。
